Once again, "Rhythmic Waves" represented Canada at the World Gymnaestrada!
At the opening ceremonies:
At their first performance: Becky Bridges, Karina Soencer-Yap, Ildi Szolosi, Linda Crawford, Debbier Shugan-Krahn, Charlene Cratt, Irmi Jahn and Madelyn Law.
Practicing a lift at the Lichtenstein Castle: According to the team members, they had a super trip, touring Zurich, Switzerland, for a few days before they continued on to the Dornbirn World Gymnaestrada in Austria. They described the event as well organized and pleased that they were staying at an hotel in Rankwell, only a 15 minute train ride to Dornbirn. Before returning home, three of the members took advantage of the short distances between countries in Europe and explored Prague (Czech Republic) and Budapest (Hungary). One visited a friend in Vienna (Austria) and also family in Scotland.
